The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning, situated on the banks of a peaceful river. The beautiful fields surrounding the hotel create a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The bungalows themselves are brand new and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. The breakfast choices are fantastic, offering both American and French options. The restaurant on-site serves delicious food at reasonable prices, and the happy hour with espresso martinis is a great bonus. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.
Although the hotel is located slightly outside of the main town, tuk tuks are readily available for transportation. However, if you're looking to stay out late in the evenings, the distance may be a slight inconvenience.

We had an amazing stay at Gecko Village! The riverview was absolutely breathtaking, and the pool was a nice place to relax. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, and we were delighted to see two adorable dogs on the property. The bungalows were well-designed, with a perfect location by the peaceful river. It was an ideal spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and go for a swim. The friendly atmosphere allowed us to mingle with other guests, while still maintaining privacy in our mini villa. The salt water pool was clean and perfect for families. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, we enjoyed it so much that we ended up going back for dinner even after checking out. It's definitely a place we would recommend to others!
